How would you react if you were given bad news about your health? Would you
cry to God, sulk in sorrow, go to others in desperation, or seek other sources? Could
it even be a variety of emotions that happens with varying levels at various times?
One factor should definitely be certain for the child of God, and that is looking to God
Who is the source of all answers to every problem we face. God Almighty has the
power to do the impossible to reassure us that He is in complete control to intervene
in our behalf with our attention focused upon His guidance in any given situation.
Searching out His promises through His Word for healing and deliverance becomes
real to our lives whenever we fully submit ourselves in the obedience of His love
offered through Jesus. Then we can fully understand that the Holy Spirit’s presence
inside gives us an even greater hope to come. So no matter what you are facing in
your life, God furnishes you with courage and stamina in His way, if you will only
behold Him alone in the glory and praise of His merciful kindness in a wholehearted
devotion of thankfulness each and every day. We are never to take for granted His
protection and the extension of His grace lightly; for, by Him we have the capacity
to proceed on with our lives in the victory over trials that would otherwise tangle
our thoughts with depressing blows of doubt. However, God still hears our inner
cry even in times of wavering questions that may arise in our minds, because He
knows our frailness, yet how disappointed in us He must feel whenever we lack
the proper trust in what He has promised us (as we should place our emphasis upon
what He has done through the suffering of Jesus Christ our Savior, Who has borne
all our sorrow and grief, carrying us through difficult times). It should be of major
comfort to realize that God hears the prayer of the afflicted and responds according
to the faith of each individual heart and in the sincerity of each life before Him that
is pleasing in His sight; But as for the contemptuously proud and evildoer, there
should be a concern that they need to come to terms with of the fact that they are
lost and undone before the Righteous Judge (that is the Living God Himself) Who
holds the verdict of soul in the matter of His Hand. For in Hebrews 10:31 it states,
“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” God knows those who
are of Him, and sets apart a life in such a way that every request made to Him is
heard with consideration. Please take time, watch, listen, and answer to
