No matter what befalls us, if we know Jesus, there is peace beyond any worry and faith above all doubt! A personal relationship with Him gives one the assurance of a resurrection to life eternal to take place with the guarantee of a body that will never die. The precious words of Jesus were not bulit by man’s ideas but by God Himself and His plan for humanity. Leaning on the promise of salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ, proclaiming the grace of His Word, and testifying that His righteousness prevails, is a must for every believer. There is a time ahead that everything that has been done in this life will be judged by God Himself. So, one must fully be aware that one will give account before Him of what was done, whether good or bad. Living a life of victory is characteristic for the overcomer to remain both faithful and determined in staying serious about one’s life in conduct that is pleasing to God, all the while alert to the attack that the devil would like to destroy one’s life with a ploy of deception. We must keep in mind the strength that God supplies and the power He equips in the ability to be an overcomer in dealing with this frail life and its difficulties. It would then be noted that condemnation would rightly be upon those guilty of rejecting the name of which God’s authority rests in support of His Word. As every consequence has effect, so also God’s grace has in result to the mercy He imparts. By His forgiveness, transgressions are removed as far in distance more than the earthly mind would allow, and in cleansing from wrong, He alone wipes clean so much purer in thought from the defilement of heart that plagues of hurt once had hold of. God is as true to His Word in healing as of in judgment and holds no regard in matter of status, for He is Righteous in all His acts! All are exposed in God’s presence; for, there are no exemptions to His all seeing eye! The detrimental effects of sin upon a life gone astray immobilizes the action of an individual to be in capacity with the alignment of the Holy Spirit in the guidance of His love. Unless the sin is dealt with by repentance, one’s life is held captive and out of commission to His promise of deliverance. There must need be sorrow of wrongdoing along with the confession of sin and a turning away from wrong to living for what is right that every activity be pleasing in God’s sight. Watch “A Better Day Ahead” and realize it is true to those who accept what Jesus has done for us. LaNora G. Means
